On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 58 and 66 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 58 station showing the arched opening at 61½ station and the watertight doors at 63 and 66 stations are open. Fire fighting equipment is one either side of the passageway. Emergency cable stowage and an international breathing apparatus cabinet and hose are against the port side.
