On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 49 and 56 stations on 2 deck looking forward from 56 station showing the open watertight door at 49 station. On the port side are an emergency cable stowage, the regulating office door and the door to the GWS 20 seacat missile magazine. An automatic emergency lantern, a smoke mask cabinet and the door to the junior ratings' dining hall are on the starboard side.
