On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 44 and 56 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 44 station showing the open watertight door at 49 station. On the starboard side are the lowerators outside the servery. On the port side is the door to the provision issue room.
