On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 28 and 37 stations on 2 deck looking forward from 37 station showing the open watertight door at 30¾ station. The door to the officers' W.Cs. is on the left with a large fuse panel and a transformer next to it. An emergency cable stowage and an international compressed air breathing apparatus cabinet are against the starboard side.
