On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 17 and 21 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 17 station showing the 4.5 inch gunbay. On the right is an international compressed air breathing apparatus cabinet next to the door to the kit locker compartment. On the left is the hand winch serving the hull outfit 20 sonar compartment on 4 deck.
