On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 11½ and 14½ stations on 2 deck looking forward from 14½ station showing the watertight door at 11½ station open to reveal the diesel generator compartment beyond. The door to the senior rates' bathroom is on the right.
