On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the sonar instrument room between 12½ and 16 stations on 3 deck looking aft and to port from 14½ station on the port side showing the SC No. 1 electrical first aid cabinet against the port side of the ship. A transformer, emergency on/off box and a radiator fuse box are against 15 bulkhead. A vertical format negative which is badly spotted on the right.
