The photographer is in the 4.5 inch magazine between 23 and 27 stations on 4 deck looking to starboard from the port side at 24 station showing bottle racks for 4.5 inch cartridges on the left against the forward bulkhead. Stowage shelves, the cartridge hoist and bottle racks for 4.5 inch cartridges are on the right. Stowage for dismantled drill carts is against the ship's starboard side.
