On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the GWS 20 missile power room between 47¾ and 51¾ on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to port from 51 station showing a desk and chair on the left. A job card system and cupboards are against the aft bulkhead. Against the port bulkhead are three units; an electrical spares cabinet is on the left, a monitor power supply cabinet is in the centre and a guidance and control outfit cabinet is on the right.
