On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the GWS 20 missile power room between 47¾ and 51¾ on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard from 49½ station showing a reset panel on the left. Alongside the door are an automatic emergency lantern and two CO² fire extinguishers. A power supply board is against the starboard bulkhead.
