On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the kit locker space between 17 and 18½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port showing two rows of kit lockers with boot lockers and suitcase racks above them. Two kit bags are on the deck. Laying on a hull frame are a razor, toothbrush, tube of shaving cream and a tube of Maclean's toothpaste. A vertical format negative.
