The photographer is in the engineer's office between 47 and 49 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard showing a desk with drawers under it. A senior rate's cap, ledgers, papers and a Boots 1971 scribbling diary are on the desk. An engine room intercom and some papers are against the starboard bulkhead. A rate meter and alarm unit, a Type IV 12-way telephone control box, a microphone, two armament broadcast loudspeakers and a main armament broadcast push button are against the starboard bulkhead.
