On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the main (No. 1) naval store between 8 and 13 stations on 3 deck looking aft and to port from the centreline at 10 station showing a wooden crate, one-gallon cans, a bucket and some rags in the centre of the store on the left. Against the aft bulkhead are racks containing nests of drawers with wire mesh fronted shelves above. On the right is rack D containing nests of drawers with open shelves above.
