On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the air electrical maintenance room between 50 and 54 stations on the starboard side of 01 deck looking forward and to port from 53 station showing a work bench with drawers under, shelves above and a desk and cupboard alongside against the port bulkhead. Another work bench is against the forward bulkhead and a rack of Dexion shelving is next to it. An automatic emergency lantern is by the side of the door. A tally card rack is propped up against the desk.
