On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the lobby between 14¾ and 19 stations on 3 deck looking forward from 18 station showing the door to the combined technical library and planned maintenance office on the left with the door to the naval air store beyond it. A padlocked watertight hatch is at the forward end of the lobby against the sonar instrument room bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
