The photographer is in the diesel generator compartment between 6 and 11½ stations on 2 deck looking to port from the centreline at 11 station showing the two switch panels on the aft bulkhead, two air receivers in tandem and a Brush motor on the aft end of the port Paxman diesel generator. A first aid cabinet is against the port side of the ship. Jerry cans of diesel oil are on deck in the right foreground.
