The photographer is in the electronic maintenance room between 39 and 42 stations on the centreline of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port side at 41 station showing a nest of drawers labelled "Cabinet No. 2" and a small work bench with a drawer, a cupboard and a nest of drawers under it against the forward bulkhead at 39¾ station. A large work bench in on the right with a nest of drawers labelled "Cabinet No. 1" and a Thermotank air conditioning unit against the starboard bulkhead. In the background is the starboard side of the room and a lieutenant is scratching his head while perched on a stool.
