On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the combined radar office between 36½ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward from 39 station showing the top of a bench against the starboard bulkhead and a bookshelf is above it against the port bulkhead. Above the bench against the starboard bulkhead are a Radiac System indicating unit, two lighting dimmer switches, a telephone and a type 993 radar aerial control unit. A vertical format negative.
