The photographer is in the main communications office between 32¼ and 35 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward from 34 station showing Bay 3, the broadcast bay, and Bay 4, the tactical bay, both equipped with two Powquip teleprinters. Bay 4 also has a morse key. In the left foreground is the desk of Bay 8, the callsign typist, and in the background is Bay No. 2A, the BID 150 bay, equipped with speech converter units.
