On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the electronic warfare office between 35½ and 38¼ stations on the centreline of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard from 38 station showing the position of the rating in charge with door on the right and an automatic emergency lantern next to it. A desk with a drawer and two combination safes under and a tape recorder on top are against the starboard bulkhead and a dimmer switch and a control circuit exchange unit are above it. Another desk with a drawer below is against the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
