The photographer is looking forward and to port from 45 station on the port side of 1 deck showing the 14 feet sailing dinghy stowed on deck under the 25 feet motor cutter between 41 and 44 stations. The dinghy has a canvas cover. The ship is berthed starboard side to the wall.
