On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the lobby between 38¼ and 39¾ stations on 1 deck looking to starboard and up from deck level on the centreline at 39 station showing the mass of cabling under the deckhead. A number of fuse panels and junction boxes are on the bulkheads and the door to the electronic maintenance room is on the right. A vertical format negative.
