On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the radar display annexe between 30 and 31¾ stations on the port side of 1 deck looking aft and to port from the door showing an A/S plotting JYA7 marker interlacing cabinet assembly containing a wave form generator, a marker selector unit, a pulse generator unit, two coding bearing units, an amplifier unit, a radar and tracker switch unit, an off-set marker switch unit, a T.A.S.C.O. switch unit and an interlace unit on the left. A design 219 co-ordinate converter cabinet with a Thermotank air conditioning unit above it and a T.I.U. Mk 5 cabinet are also against the aft bulkhead. A speaker unit and a JYA7 power meter unit are against the port side of the ship.
