On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is on the GWS 20 Seacat missile launcher deck between 53 and 56 stations on 02 deck looking aft from 54½ station showing the base of the empty launcher. The spigot stowage box is open to show the four connections. In the background is the Royal Netherlands Navy frigate Isaac Sweers (1967) which was visiting Chatham as part of the Standing Naval Force Atlantic (STANAVFORLANT).
