The photographer is in the aft auxiliary machinery and gland space (thrust block compartment) between 103 and 107 stations below the main flat. He is looking to starboard at low level from 106 station showing the forward end of the starboard stern gland assembly. Lockers 1 and 2 are against the aft bulkhead with large air bottles above and below them. A vertical format negative.
