Her starboard anchor is deployed and her port anchor is suspended below its hawse. She is flying the Blue Peter from her foremast starboard yardarm. In the left background and seen from ahead of her port beam is the Spanish Navy light cruiser Almirante Cervera (1925). Beyond the bow of the City of Nagpur (1922) is a coal hulk with the letter A on the bow.
