The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 65 and 68 stations below the main flat, looking up and into the port forward corner showing a cupboard unit, labelled cupboard one and cupboard two, with an ashtray mounted on the door. Against the forward bulkhead are an action intercom loudspeaker, two telephones, a distribution box and a sonar intercom amplifiers unit. A vertical format negative.
