The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 65 and 68 stations below the main flat, looking down and into the port forward corner showing a cupboard unit, labelled cupboard one and cupboard two, with an ashtray mounted on the door. This cupboard unit is on top of a two drawer unit secured by a vertical bar lock. Against the forward bulkhead are two telephones, a distribution box and a sonar intercom amplifiers unit.
