The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 65 and 68 stations below the main flat, looking into the port forward corner showing a cupboard unit against the port bulkhead. it is labelled cupboard one and cupboard two and is on top of a two drawer unit secured by a vertical bar lock. Against the forward bulkhead are an action intercom loudspeaker, two telephones, a distribution box and a sonar intercom amplifiers unit. Next to these units is the door from the auxiliary machinery compartment. A vertical format negative.
