The photographer is in the officers' washplace between 69 and 74 stations on the port side of the main flat looking to port and down into water closet number 1 (noted as trap 1 by the photographer). A rack of electric cable passes through the cubicle above the W.C. against the boat's side. Three vertical link arms are fitted to the aft bulkhead and a hose nozzle is connected to a system of pipes and valves. A vertical format negative.
