A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the control room between 59 and 69 stations looking to starboard, aft and up from 64 station showing the echo sounder recorder and a distribution box to the left of the radar office door. Main tank vent valves are against the starboard side of the boat. An automatic emergency lantern is on the end of the main action console which includes a Decca wireless receiver circuits unit and a control transponder. A large number of junction boxes and fuse boxes are under the deckhead.
