A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the control room between 59 and 69 stations looking to port, forward and down from 60 station showing the helmsman's position against the forward bulkhead at 59 station. A telephone to the aft steering compartment is by his seat and a speaking tube is against the port side of the boat. A torpedo tube action state panel is on the right of the helmsman's console. A vertical format negative.
