A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the generator room between 77 and 92 stations looking to port and down from the main flat at 81 station showing the main console on the right with a connecting box and an automatic emergency lantern on the side of it. A mass of pipework and cabling is against the port side of the boat. A vertical format negative.
