The photographer is in the wardroom passage between 49 and 56¼ stations on the main flat looking forward and to port from 52 station showing a double bunk berth unit with the curtains open. Handwheels and a junction box are against the boat's hull. In the forward bulkhead at 49 station is the watertight door into the crew accommodation and the circular grill covering the battery intake trunk. A vertical format negative.
