The photographer is in the senior rates mess between 42 and 49 stations on the starboard side of the main flat looking to port from 43½ station on the starboard side showing a triple tier bunk unit against the forward bulkhead. The middle berth is number 23 and the unit is rigged for sitting. A large drinks unit is against the inboard bulkhead with a triple tier bunk unit on the left.
