The photographer is in the senior rates mess between 42 and 49 stations on the starboard side of the main flat looking aft from 43½ station on the port side. A telephone is above a letter rack at 47 station against the starboard side of the boat and a triple berth bunk unit with kit lockers behind are against the aft bulkhead. A triple tier bunk unit is on the right and a table and cushioned seats are in the left foreground. A vertical format negative.
