The photographer is in the forward accommodation passage between 42 and 49 stations on the port side of the main flat looking forward from 46 station showing a clothes hanging closet on the left with a cold room and a triple berth bunk unit beyond it. An index card holder and a noticeboard are on the bulkhead of the senior rates' mess on the right. A vertical format negative.
