The photographer is in the aft torpedo compartment between 108 and 117 stations on the main flat looking aft and to starboard from 110 station showing a portable berth on top of tool lockers in the foreground. Against the starboard side of the boat are S.E.I.E. (submarine escape immersion equipment) lockers 18 and 15, two small lockers marked 'B.U. 6 short', the torpedo order indicator Mk. 4 model 1 above a power supply panel, an automatic emergency lantern and a telephone. The starboard torpedo tube (No. 7) is on the right. A vertical format negative.
