The photographer is in the aft torpedo compartment between 108 and 117 stations on the main flat looking aft and up from 109 station showing the stern torpedo tubes in the aft bulkhead. Under the deckhead are a canvas covering fitted to the torpedo hatch, an electric fire, a 2 KW fan heater, a No Smoking sign and two lockers marked 'B.U. 6 short'. A group of lockers identified as A, webbing equipment locker, B, unmarked, and two marked B1a and B1b, S.S.E. (submerged signal ejector) pyrotechnics ready-use supply, are on the right. A locker marked S.E.I.E. (submerged escape immersion equipment) is on the left with two small lockers marked 'B.U. 6 short' above.
