The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 34 and 44 stations on the main flat looking forward and to port from 40 station showing two triple tier bunk units, two folding tables, cushioned seats and an amplifier cabinet marked L28. On top of the amplifier cabinet is a sketch titled 'HMs/m Sealion Commissioning Dance'. A loudspeaker, a paper towel roll and an electric fire are under the deckhead.
