The photographer is in the junior rates mess between 34 and 44 stations on the main flat looking forward and slightly to port from 38 station showing two triple tier bunk units, a folding table, cushioned seats and an amplifier cabinet marked L28. On top of the amplifier cabinet is a sketch titled 'HMs/m Sealion Commissioning Dance'. Above the open watertight door in the forward bulkhead is an automatic emergency lantern. A vertical format negative.
