Eyepiece
Eyepiece used for correction (on a vertical plane) of atmospheric chromatic dispersion. It consists of a prism of adjustable angle, produced by a plano convex lens positioned in the concavity of a plano convex lens, and being allowed to roll in the concavity. Eyepiece devised by G B Airy and William Simms. Engraved inscription on the telescope end of the eyepiece.
