Corisande

Hand-coloured lithograph. Starboard view of the racing yawl, Corisande (1872). Corisande is shown in full sail on a port tack working along a headland of cliffs and low hills against a stiff breeze. Eleven figures are ranged in groups along the vessel and a rowboat is suspended from davits amidships. In the far distance, close to the coastline is a paddle steamer. The Corisande flies the red ensign and a bargee from the main mast. A bouy floats in the foreground to the right of the image.
