Portable reflector telescope
This is a portable Gregorian (reflector telescope) signed I. van der Bildt.
Telescope: The barrel is made of brass. It has adjustable inclination and rotary movement (or altitude and azimuth movment). The screw-on eyepiece has a shaped brass cap. A wooden cap with a brass knob plugs on to the object end. Within the barrel are primary and secondary specula (mirrors). There is a screw thread for focusing which is done by moving the secondary mirror by use of the rod attatched to the barrel. The telescope is in good condition.
Stand: The telescope is mounted on a brass pillar and stand with three collapsable claw legs.
Box and accessories: There is no box.
