Portable reflector telescope
This is a portable Gregorian (reflector) telescope.
Telescope: The barrel is made of brass. It has adjustable inclination and rotary movement (or altitude and azimuth movement). The at has a screw-on eyepiece, which has a brass cap. There is an object end cap. There is a refracting telescopic sight attached to the side of the barrel. The primary mirror is missing but, the secondary mirror is present. There is a screw thread for focusing which is done by moving the secondary mirror by use of the rod attatched to the side of the barrel.The length of the telescope with the eyepiece and object cap is 590 mm, the diameter of the barrel is 115 mm.
Stand: The telescope is mounted on a pillar stand with three folding claw legs.
Box and accessories: The instrument comes in a mahogany box with a key, it is 515 mm long. There are two spare eyepieces with caps, and one eyepiece cap in a box. There is also a spare secondary mirror in a tin box.
