Captain Woodget's peaked cap
Peaked cap made of felt/wool-like material, said to be that of Captain Woodget's. See object history file E1/2. Peak of cap made of fabric with a leather rim. One row of gold oak leaf decoration on peak, which is somewhat worn. Black fabric band round front of cap, fixed with two black buttons on either side. Crown of hat also made of fabric. Underside of peak worn green leather with sweat band in light brown leather, tied with red fabric ribbon at back of band.
