G Koch was bound from Hamburg to Cardiff with a load of coal for Las Palmas when it ran aground off Dolor Point on 7 March 1904. It was refloated two weeks later by the Western Marine Salvage Co and continued trading until wrecked near the Girdleness Lighthouse, Aberdeen in January 1913 with the loss of seven lives.
