A view from the forecastle looking aft along the deck of an unidentified coasal steamer at the salvage work going on.
A view from the forecastle deck of an unidentified coastal steamer stranded in the Isles of Scilly, looking aft along the deck towards the bridge and funnel. The bell has been removed from the belfry in the foreground, right. Three large donkey boilers are on the upper deck near the hatchway and pumps have been placed down the hatch. A fourth donkey boiler is in the distance on the after deck. A paddle vessel is alongside the starboard broadside (out of focus). In the distance are islands, possibly in the Isles of Scilly.
