A view of the remains of a pile of rocks that marked a sailor's grave near the foreshore, somewhere on St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly

The remains of a pile of rocks that mark a sailor's grave, just above the foreshore somewhere on St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly. The rocky headland slopes down the sea, leading the eye to the rocks on the distant horizon. A piece of planking resting below the rocky outcrop is moved in G14340, which is otherwise a very similar composition.

The reverse of the negative states in pencil 'Sailor's Grave St Agnes'.
