A port bow view of the Canadian Pacific steamships cruise ship Duchess of Atholl (1928) alongside a finger jetty at Kingston, Jamaica.

A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Atholl (1928) moored alongside a finger jetty at Kingston, Jamaica. An accommodation ladder is rigged from the midships shell doors to the jetty. The ship is apparently getting ready to depart because the passengers are lining the rails and a large number of streamers have been thrown from the ship to the jetty. Many of these wind blown streamers have wrapped themselves round the lamp posts on the jetty. The tips of the bow and the stern are just out of the picture.
